Red OctoberFit Fest is a competition where athletes and non-athletes can come together and participate in a community fitness event. No judging. Instead, it is about embracing each other and pushing yourself to the limit. Red OctoberFit’s specially designed drills and regimes that combine CrossFit, MMA and team sports will challenge everyone based on their current fitness level. What sets Red OctoberFit Fest apart from other fitness competitions? Rather then focusing solely on strength, competitors will put their endurance to the test. Training drills, sprints and fluid motion regiments that avoid weights are incorporated in this high-intensity fitness competition. The removal of weights is key to avoiding unnecessary strain on your joints. Get ready to have some fun!

Fighting for a Cause – Red OctoberFit Gives Back

Nothing is more important than giving something back to the community and the world as a whole. The people around us help us to grow and thrive and meet our own goals. Without you, Red OctoberFit wouldn’t be able to exist, and that’s why we make this promise: Red OctoberFit is going to give something back, and we’ve been intent on that goal from day one.

Our mission is to use a percentage of what we earn from registration fees to help with One child of mine day care contributions both domestically and abroad.

Why did we choose this cause to support? Because I know from first-hand experience how critical good, reliable, and safe child care can be for working families. This is especially true in an economic climate where many households require both parents to work just so they can pay the bills and put food on the table. And with that being the case, imagine the hardships faced by single parents, and the cost involved in those parents having no choice but to pay for child care while they’re working.

Financial assistance is important when it comes to this issue. It’s not just a matter of child care providing the only option outside of the impractical (bringing a child to work) or the unthinkable (leaving a young child alone), but it also gives these children more opportunities to learn and develop inside a structured environment. Effective child care fosters social skills, self-discipline, and other traits that will follow a child all the way into adulthood.

Sure, I remember taking a lot of naps and playing games when I was in day care as a kid, but what the experience instilled in me at that age was part of what allowed me to become a productive adult. That’s exactly what I want to help proliferate with Red OctoberFit’s contributions.

We’re going to take some of the burden off of struggling families and help to place children in a safe environments while their parents are at work…and by doing this, we believe we’re helping everyone. These children are the future of our world, and our future will be a reflection of how we care for them, support them, and teach them right now.

Red OctoberFit: Redefining the Art of Fitness in 2016

 Mixed Martial Arts contenders know without a doubt that total-body fitness is a key part of a winning fighter. That means strength, flexibility, a solid core, and – most importantly – endurance. The ability to last through a treadmill session is quite a bit different from having the stamina to go round-after-round in the ring.

 So where do you sit on that sliding scale of fitness? If you’re ready to find out, prove  yourself, and win some prizes, then you’re ready to sign up for Red Octoberfit’s premier competition this Summer. It’s the first of its kind and the first in our emerging challenge series, so you’ll be getting right in on the ground floor of something intense (and your whole family can enjoy it!)


Imagine running 2 miles, completing hundreds of kicks, punches, and elbows, and sprinting from station to station doing push-ups. Now imagine having to do all of this in less than 20 minutes! It’s fitness from a fighting perspective, and it will push you to your limits.


It’s going to be tough, but as I said, everyone is invited to participate! The challenges are slightly different between male and female contenders, and there will even be youth events held the day before the main competition. That includes a scaled-down version of the challenge course designed just for the kids! These young competitors will receive an Red OctoberFit Fest certificate, courtesy of our great sponsors.

There are plenty of great prizes up for grabs for the adults, too. Those who complete the first-day challenges will be eligible for trainer certification at half price. The contenders who finish in the top-five will receive fully-approved certification at no charge. There’s also prize money (starting at $250) at stake, so even though the point is to test yourself, there are plenty of reasons to give it your all against the other competitors!

If you feel like you’ve hit a wall, plateaued on your workout, or if you’re just ready to take on the next challenge, Red OctoberFit is your match. You’re going to discover hidden capacities, use muscles you didn’t even know you had, and really put your body to the test! This is no casual stroll through the gym, but there are no fitness requirements to participate; you only have to bring a desire to push yourself and to have a good time!

Registration is only $35 for adults (for the 1st 30 days, then $45 there after) and $20 for children 13-17 and $15 for 7-12 yrs and waivers must be signed and dated before entrants are allowed to compete.

What to Expect?

The Red OctoberFit Fest starts launches at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 27, 201at Civic Center Park in Denver, Colorado (101 W. 14th Ave., Denver, CO 80202). Throughout the day, there will be 5 events held at 2 different difficulty levels. Prizes will be awarded to the top 3 in the men’s, women’s and youth categories. Schedule of Events is below.

                           9:00 a.m.    1st Event: Chest Drill Champion

                                             • Run a total of 100 yds. in one direction while performing line drills

                                                • 10 lb. ball chest push 10x and sprint back to finish

                           10:00 a.m.  2nd Event: Twist and Hitch Hype

                                             • Run a total of 100 yds. in one direction while performing line drills

                                                • Workout band arm lifts

                           11:00 a.m.    3rd Event: 360 Warrior

                                             • Run a total of 100 yds. in one direction while performing line drills

                                                • Push-ups with legs on half-moon push-up ball

                                                • 360 motion push-ups
